Fluoresco (an Everbrite company) designs, manufactures, installs and maintains everything from indoor/outdoor displays to digital and electric installments. Managing a fleet of vehicles is demanding work. Scheduling which employees are using which vehicle for which job in which location can be a daunting task, even for a seasoned veteran like Fluoresco fleet manager, Craig Davis. Craig has been in the fleet maintenance business for 25 years. It was in 2015 when Craig realized he had a problem on his hands.
Craig’s employees work hard, really hard. Between scoping out the next location of a drive-thru installation for McDonald’s to installing traffic signage for a local municipality, he needs to find a way to keep his employees on the road.

Whether it’s an oil change, tire rotation, fluids or filters, being on the road all day, every day, requires some TLC. That’s especially true for a fleet that crosses The Valley in the blazing Arizona sun all year long.
Every time a truck or van is pulled off a job for two hours (the average amount of time a traditional fleet maintenance service costs Fluoresco), there’s a corresponding employee that’s not providing valuable services to Fluoresco’s clients.
When it was all said and done, Craig realized Fluoresco was losing up to $900 a month. It’s no wonder they needed a better solution.
A Spotlight on Phoenix Fleet Maintenance
Feeling the pressure from the top brass, Craig knew he needed a solution.
Using his favorite browser, he searched for “on site service.” It didn’t take long for Craig to see InSite OilChange right at the top.

- When a Fluoresco vehicle needs brake fluid or power steering fluid, InSite OilChange takes care of it.
- Transmission fluid? Though rare, InSite OilChange takes care of that, as well.
- It’s hard to believe that it rains in the desert. But, because it occasionally does, InSite OilChange fills the windshield washer fluid and replaces wiper blades when necessary.
- What good is a finely tuned fleet of vehicles if they’re running on less than optimal tires? Every vehicle that Fluoresco’s fleet has gets inspected on site. After inspection, Steve lets Craig know what he finds.
- Not every vehicle needs a new air filter, but if it does, InSite OilChange can provide a good one.
- Sometimes a sign installation job needs to be done in the dark. Fluoresco (spell check) needs their fleet to have the exterior lights on all their vehicles working properly. If they aren’t, they get replaced by the InSite OilChange crew.
InSite Phoenix Fleet Maintenance That Goes the Extra Mile
Not all engines are the same. Some vehicles in Fluoresco’s fleet have diesel engines which require some special care. When needed, InSite OilChange will provide an oil test especially for these engines.
In order to make sure the oil is up to the industry standard for diesel engines, the oil is sent to a special lab in Phoenix for testing. After the testing is complete, the lab returns a special report indicating the engine wear and tear. Based on the findings, InSite OilChange may suggest solutions to either improve the condition of the engine or ways to minimize the inevitable erosion of the engine’s performance.

Craig Davis has numerous responsibilities as the fleet manager for Fluoresco. One of the chief among them is optimizing his vehicles for the hundreds of jobs completed in the Phoenix metro area.
